BIOGRAPHIE

 

Marina Dieul est née en France. Elle a montré un grand intérêt pour la peinture et le dessin depuis sa plus tendre enfance, et sa famille l'a encouragée dans sa vocation artistique. Au début des années 2000, elle s'est installée à Montréal où elle vit présentement. Elle était principalement autodidacte jusqu'en 2008, date à laquelle elle a étudié avec Tim Stotz et Michelle Tully, anciens étudiants de Ted Seth Jacobs.

 

Son travail a été reconnu par de nombreux prix et honneurs internationaux parmi lesquels l' Artist Magazine, l' International Artist Magazine, le Kingston Prize, le Salon International (Greenhouse Gallery). Récemment elle a gagné le 2ème prix de la Société du Portait du Canada, le prix William Bouguereau et le premier prix de dessin au concours de l'ART RENEWAL CENTER.

 

Son travail a été publié dans le livre " Stroke of Genius 2 " (North Light Books ) ainsi que dans un article de 8 pages dans l' International Artist Magazine.

 

Elle est membre de la Société du portrait du Canada et de la Portrait Society of America .

ENGLISH BIOGRAPHY

 

Marina Dieul was born in France. She showed great interest in painting and drawing from an early age, and her family encouraged her vocation. In early 2000, she moved to Montreal, Canada, where she now lives. She has since studied with Tim Stotz and Michelle Tully, former students of Ted Seth Jacobs. Her work has received numerous awards and honors, including the Kingston Prize, the Portrait Society of Canada, the Artist Magazine, and International Artist Magazine, among others.


She won the William Bouguereau Best of Show Award, and first place in the drawing category at the Art Renewal Center Salon, the Best of Show in the "Inspiring Figures" exhibition (Butler Institute of American Art) and Awards of Exceptional merit at the Portrait Society of America’s international competition. She is a member of the Portrait Society of Canada, the Portrait Society of America, and has been selected as a Living Master by the Art Renewal Center.

 


Marina Dieul is represented by the Legacy Gallery in Scottsdale,  Arizona, the Marine Art Gallery in Marblehead, Massachussett, Obsidian Art Gallery, Stoke Mandeville, UK and BeinArt Gallery, Brunswick, Australia.
